DESCRIPTION：

The EC series thickness gauges can non-destructively measure the thickness of non-conductive coatings on metal surfaces, as well as non-ferromagnetic metal coatings (e.g., aluminum, copper, gold, or zinc) on ferromagnetic metals (e.g., iron, nickel, and cobalt). Specific applications include measuring the thickness of paint or galvanized layers on iron and martensitic stainless steel surfaces, as well as the thickness of paint or plastic films on aluminum and copper surfaces.

The EC-180 features an integrated probe combining magnetic induction and eddy current effects, with a measurement range of 0 to 3000μm and an accuracy of ±(3% reading + 2μm).

The EC-180 features a 2-inch HD color display with a streamlined standardized menu interface, capable of displaying various statistical values, indicators, and alarm conditions for exceeding limits. During measurement, the user simply needs to quickly press the probe end against the surface of the object being measured. As the probe retracts into the instrument, the device automatically identifies the substrate properties and measures the thickness of the coating (plating).

The EC-180 is designed for vehicle paint inspection: it can measure paint thickness while identifying materials such as iron galvanized and iron powder putty. The instrument exhibits strong interference resistance and operates normally in complex electromagnetic field environments.
